The Cocooner

The Cocooner suits a man cave built for retreat. The room is quiet, warm and low lit, and the furniture is chosen for sinking into at the end of a day. The collection covers deep seated sofas and sectionals, oversized armchairs and recliners, poufs and ottomans for feet, layered textiles in wool and boucle, and soft lighting from floor and table lamps on dimmers. Texture carries this look more than color does. Layering a heavy throw, a wool rug and woven cushions in a narrow tonal range gives depth to a room without brightening it, which is the point.
