At Cave Supplies, we want you to be completely satisfied with your Karat Home purchase. If you need to return a Karat Home item, please review the return policy below.
Return Guidelines
- Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery date
- All returns must be in ORIGINAL PACKAGING and LIKE-NEW CONDITION
- 25% RESTOCKING FEE applies to all returns unless defective
- 25% REPACKAGING FEE applies if original packaging is missing
- 2.5% CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEE will be deducted from refund amount
- CUSTOMER is responsible for return shipping costs (except for defective items)
- Delivery charges are NOT refundable
- Mattresses are NOT returnable unless structurally defective (must report within 12 hours of delivery)
How to Return Your Purchase
- Request Return Authorization
- Email [email protected] to initiate your Karat Home return
- Include your order number and reason for return
- We’ll provide you with a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER
- Do not ship items without an RA number – returns without RA numbers cannot be processed
- Packaging Requirements
- Use original Karat Home packaging materials
- Include all parts and hardware
- Write RA number clearly on outside of box
- Keep proof of shipping until return is completed
- Items must be in like-new condition (no pet hair, stains, or visible use)
- Shipping Information
- Return shipping ADDRESS WILL BE PROVIDED with your RMA number, as Karat Home operates multiple warehouse locations
- DO NOT ship returns to Cave Supplies – they will not be processed
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- For defective items, Cave Supplies will provide return instructions
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage
- Returns without RA numbers will not be accepted
- Refund Process
- Refunds are processed within 48 hours after inspection
- Original shipping and delivery costs are not refunded
- 25% restocking fee applies to non-defective returns
- 2.5% credit card processing fee will be deducted
- Refund will be issued to original payment method
- Allow up to 5 business days for refund to appear on your card
Warranty
Karat Home products include a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase.
- Karat Home will either give credit or replace defective parts through the retailer
- Manufacturing defects must be reported promptly through the original retailer
- You must provide a copy of the purchase invoice and/or delivery ticket
- Digital images of defects may be required
- Inspection by a Karat Home employee or representative may be necessary to verify defects
- If replacement items are discontinued, Karat Home may substitute similar merchandise or offer full credit to the retailer
Important Notes
- Must inspect all items upon delivery
- Any damages MUST be noted on delivery manifest/bill of lading
- Claims for defects/damage must be filed within 48 hours of receipt
- Returns after 7 days but within 30 days subject to additional inspection
- Items showing abuse or misuse will not be accepted
- Gift recipients must coordinate returns through the original purchaser
- Returns sent without an RMA number will not be processed
